Getting started
- Describe your automation in plain English. Be specific about triggers, apps, and what should happen.
- Choose your platform — Apple Shortcuts, Android Tasker, or PC Power Automate Desktop.
- Parse or Smart Parse — Parse creates a single workflow. Smart Parse detects complexity and can generate a shortcut + n8n workflow + setup guide.
- Generate and download — click Generate to get a ready-to-import file for your platform.
Best practices
- Be specific with triggers: "Every weekday at 7am" beats "in the morning."
- Name your inputs and outputs so the workflow is easier to edit later.
- Use Smart Parse for multi-step workflows that need a server component.
- Turn on Research mode when your request involves external APIs.
- Start from a template if you are not sure what to type.
- Platform differences: Apple uses .shortcut, Android uses .tsk.xml, PC uses .robin scripts.
